Denbigh 2005
Denbigh Castle
Easter 2005 saw an extensive living history encampment amid the ruins of Denbigh Castle and a battle for the fate of Wales:
The year is 1097 and William Rufus, son of William the Conqueror, is leading his army of Normans and Saxons against the rebellious Welsh led by Cadwdan Ap Bleddyn and Gruffydd Ap Cynan with their army of loyal Cymry and Hiberno-Norse Vikings from Dublin and the Isle of Man.
